Reconciliation
The human soul is widely misunderstood,
And equally misunderstanding.
It's purpose is to connect,
But the mind often segregates.
Fearful of what it doesn't know...
And a disdain for that which is different.
The pride swells from the mind to the soul,
Seeking to reconcile self inadequacies.
Wanting to write off the unexplainable,
Intellectual laziness to comfort ones self.
But individualism is not meant to purge...
But to supplement the whole.
The vast complexities that reside within all,
Hold the keys to the great design.
Our flaws do not destroy us,
But give us something to live for.
We strive to make them better...
Rather than view them as dross.
Character forming...purpose provident.
Our flaws are not sinful, but misunderstood.
Seek them out, and serve them for the better.
Accept them, love them, strengthen around them.
Thus it is with humanity...
We are not many, but one body.
That which is perceived as weak is great,
As it provides for growth through understanding.
Embrace what you are tempted to write off...
Serve and love whom you feel disconnected.
As you reconcile to others, you reconcile to yourself.
As you reconcile to yourself, you reconcile to God.
