Blind Faith?

"Lean not unto thine own understanding" does not mean you accept everything on blind faith.  It simply means to look to God to help you to find truth.  To exclude your God given mind from the process prohibits you from growth and converts you to a process or script as opposed to God.  To seek, to think, to question, to ponder, to learn and challenge, to experience, to become wise.  All the while asking for guidance, inspiration, thanking, and crediting God...this is leaning not on your own understanding.  You know the source by which you gain truth.  You build a working relationship with God.  You see the value in that relationship, harness it, and respect that you know so little but can learn so much.
