The Means to the End

When you have been met with a difficult challenge, and things seem unfair...look at the end result you want and work backward.  You'll be surprised to find that more often than not there is not a moment during that period where fairness by your definition is attained.  What you will find is that along the way forgetting yourself and immersing into the cause will not only yield positive results for your cause, but your sacrifice will shape your character ten fold.  Our ways are not God's ways.  We naturally want fairness...and we want the balance to happen in our time frame.  I believe that God, seeing the bigger picture has no interest in fair.  He wants to give us more than an appeasement of our senses.  He wants to humble, develop, challenge, and help us achieve far beyond what we are capable of.  Find the end, forget yourself, work selflessly, and let God be the means.  There will not be balance in your life.  There will be more growth than you could ever have imagined.
